Penrhos has everything you need onsite, including an 18-hole golf course, driving range and smaller 9-hole course. if you can tear yourself away from your indulgent hot tub however you won’t be disappointed.

There are plenty of beaches around Cardigan Bay with the opportunity to take boat trip, perhaps spot grey seals or bottlenose dolphins both of which are regular visitors

Cycle along the beautiful Dysynnii Valley, completely safe for cyclists and walkers it's virtually traffic-free.

For those who love wildlife a visit to the Red Kite Feeding Station at Rhayader is a must, you can even go Llama trekking in Wales if you fancy something a bit different.

With over 600 castles, so you will be spoilt for choice but Powis Castle, although a bit of a drive, is definitely worth a visit.
