About Cornish Lodge

One master bedroom with a super king size hypnos bed. spacious and elegant en suite with free-standing bath. One large twin room with a large en-suite walk in shower. Activities in the Stratton Area

Bude Sea Pool is a part-natural, partially man-made tidal swimming pool on the beach. Enjoy paddling, serious swimming, snorkelling, surfing and scuba diving. Bude Sea Pool is open throughout the year and is free. Surf, sand and sun is the heart of Summerleaze Beach. This beach is clean and safe. This is usually visitors first place to get their feet wet. The best beach in Cornwall has plenty to offer. Surfing, sun tanning and family picnics. Summerleaze is the best beach in Cornwall for its variety of activities.

There are a number of surf schools and another great watersport, Kayaking. Sea fishing is also popular at the beach. For walkers Geoclastica Walks are stunning and educational. These captivating guided walks study Bude’s dramatic cliffs, made of hard sandstone and mudstone beds. If you want to learn how to ride a wave, then pop to the nearest surf school.

Big Blue Surf School is Bude's original surf school, which was established in 1999. The school specialises in beginners and those wanting to improve their technique. If riding the waves isn’t for you then you can ride a bicycle instead. Bude Bikes have bikes for hire to suit most ages and abilities. The hire includes helmet, lock, pump, repair kit and recommended route maps.
