The lodges have big open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, and the lounges open out through French doors.  

Fully equipped kitchen with extractor for adventurous cooking, and a huge fridge. Raised timber decking all around, complete with hot tubs. 

Not Pet Friendly

Pets are allowed, maximum of 2 pets in the larger of the two types of lodge available. There is a charge of £49 per week or per short break each. Bring your furry friend or friends with you for some fun in the sun.

Brand new from 2018. A large, luxurious lodge perfect for families, groups and pet owners with up to two dogs. Wood burning stove in lounge. Sleeps up to 8. Two double bedrooms with ensuite. One bedroom with 2 bunk beds. Separate bathroom. Decked area with large hot tub.

Activities in the Monkton area

Foxhunter Park is tailor made to keep adults, and pets happy through the day and into the evening. The huge site has amusements and a kids adventure playground, and lots of activities for energetic grown ups. 

Just walking around this resort is quite an adventure in itself, with its palm tree lined paths, walkways and architectural features. The Park is designed to bring a taste of the Mediterranean, or even the Caribbean, to balmy Kent, which often has the weather to match. There are great poolside areas to enjoy, both out in the open or under the shade. The bar is well stocked, and the restaurant has some excellent cuisine on offer.

Monkton lies near the coastal town of Ramsgate. The area is famous for its seaside retreats, which have been popular with visitors for many generations. Famous names include Whitstable, Margate and Broadstairs; any of these great British resorts are firm favourites with families, pets and groups of adults.

For nature lovers, this part of the county also has some unique attractions. Just to the south of Ramsgate, the Sandwich and Pegwell Bay nature reserve is perfect for a day out. Lying at the mouth of the River Stour, the reserve is famous for its rare birds, which rest here while migrating. The whole area is extremely peaceful, and has plenty of amenities to keep you there for the whole day.

Further inland, the Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) spreads right across the county, and is another unique attraction for nature lovers. Just to the north of the Downs is the historic city of Canterbury, which is the perfect place to go sightseeing, shopping, eating, drinking and relaxing.
