Located on the edge of the beautiful South Downs, Marwell Lodges in Owlesbury near Winchester combines peace and relaxation with a long list of exciting activities.

The accommodation is within Marwell Outdoor Activity Centre where you can book zip-lining, orienteering, clay pigeon shooting, kayaking and quad biking. There is also a soft play area, café and adventure course available here too. 

Each lodge is luxuriously kitted out and you’ll find everything you need for a great time away. The timber deck is home to a private hot tub – the best place to unwind after a long day having fun.

Typhoon Lodge

Perfect for a romantic holiday, this one bedroom, wooden lodge has an en-suite bathroom with a whirlpool bath and a sauna. The open-plan living-dining-kitchen area is beautifully fitted in a Shaker-style decor with comfy sofas, a TV, DVD player, dishwasher and microwave. On the deck is a private hot tub and garden furniture.

Hurricane Lodge

A two bedroom timber lodge for up to 6 people. There is a double bedroom with en-suite, a twin room plus a sofa-bed in the lounge. An outdoor hot tub is on the deck along with a barbecue and garden furniture for outside dining. In the kitchen-diner is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and dining table.

Lancaster Lodge

A top-of-the-range lodge with three bedrooms that sleep up to 10 people. There are two double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms with extra sleeping space in the lounge. There's a family bathroom plus a separate shower room. The hot tub is on the private sun deck with a barbecue and garden furniture.

Activities In The Winchester Area

Hampshire is a pretty county packed with interesting places to see. From the city of Winchester to Portsmouth on the coast, you can reach it all from Marwell Lodges.

The South Downs is an area of rolling hills, stunning views and bustling market towns. Enjoy the walking trails that cross this national park and get back in touch with nature. Winchester is a pretty city with a stunning cathedral in its centre. There are 1000 years of history to learn about here with daily tours available. Winchester College is one of the oldest schools in the country, and The Great Hall allows visitors a peek at King Arthur’s Round Table.

Discover Marwell Zoo, close to the lodges, where there are over 100 different exotic animals to see. With a mini-train to ride on and an adventure playground to climb on, there’s something here for every age group to enjoy. And little tots will love a visit to Peppa Pig World at Poultons Family Park - it’s only 16 miles away. Lyndhurst is in the middle of the amazing New Forest and it can be reached in about 30 minutes. Look out for the wild ponies as you drive.

With so much going on at this holiday park, you could fill your holiday without leaving the site. An action-packed break can be yours if you like adrenaline pumping activities. but if you prefer to relax in the hot tub and enjoy lunch out on the deck, then this place offers you that as well.
