Carsaig is an immaculate self-catering loch side cottage. It has stunning views of the Scottish countryside and of the Loch Venacher.

The detached cottage is in the heart of the Trossachs National Park and is set on a 3 acre property, which leads down to a private loch side beach and jetty.

This brilliant property is pet friendly and allows up to 2 well behaved pets. There is a large garden for your pets to run around in and there is also a lake for fishing so be careful when near the water.

About The Property

The 2 double bedrooms, 1 with 5ft bed and 1 with 6ft bed have garden and loch views and an en-suite shower room with toilet.

The twin bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet and views of the loch and garden. The large living room has an open fire with views of the loch.

It also has 2 free view TV’s, iPod dock and DVD player. The large glass doors open onto the patio, which leads down to the loch.

The large, well-equipped kitchen and dining room are spacious with great views.

There is a gas/electric range for cooking, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge / freezer. The floors are wooden giving a warm hue as sunlight fills the room.

Find loads of great activities in the highlands area, a great base to explore the rest of Scotland!

Carsaig is surrounded with an array of activities. On your walks you will probably encounter some of the local wildlife including red squirrels, red kites and ospreys. Local birds are always around so don’t forget your binoculars.

There are miles of forest roads, cycle tracks and footpaths through woodlands and around the loch. There are fairy woodland walks, or relax in the garden. Unwind in the outdoor den which has a seating area and a chiminea.

There are nearby mountains to climb such as Ben Venue, Ben Ledi and Ben A’an. There are several golf courses close by.

The famous Gleneagles course is only a 40 minute drive. Take a 5 minute drive to Callander, a Highland town with a variety of quaint shops, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The loch is ideal for catching brown trout and pike. After a long day out exploring, playing golf or fishing you can return and relax in the hot tub with a cold drink in hand.
