All accommodation is standard with WiFi and central heating. Well equipped kitchens ensure that delicious home cooked meals can be prepared effortlessly.

Pet Friendly

GOOD PLACE FOR DOGS

Five out of the six lodges allow pets. A maximum of 2 and only small breeds are permitted. Owners must pay £49 each for their Pets per week or per short break. Bing your little pooch with you. There is plenty for them to explore. Swallow does not allow pets.

Holiday home with one master double with en-suite shower and one twin. Modern open kitchen, lounge and dining area. Doors lead onto decking with garden furniture, barbecue and outdoor hot tub and splendid countryside landscape. Pets allowed.

About The Carriage House

Majestic and chic converted two storey house. Ground floor: Open plan living area with electric fire with French doors leading onto the patio. Spacious kitchen with TV, breakfast bar, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. One king size double with TV and en-suite shower.

First floor: One twin with zip and link beds, TV and en-suite shower. Decking with partially covered patio, outdoor hot tub and glass roof extension with garden furniture. Enjoy use of the shared manicured gardens with views of the pond and terrace. Bike store and parking is available for up to 2 cars. Pets allowed

Activities in the Calthwaite Area

Stunning countless traditional towns and ancient sandstone villages are just a short walk away. With historic cities and national parks on your doorstep, these properties have something for everyone.

The excellent local pub is the ideal place to learn about the rich history of the area from the locals. Brougham mythical Castle’s, Inns, bars and restaurants await you. Enjoy the wealth of fells, caves and waterfalls. Ullswater is a short 12 miles trip away.

With the historic city of Carlisle just north of you, its a terrific place to visit for an array of shops, restaurants and bars. 

Within driving distance is the North Pennines and Kielder Forest Park which are brilliant for families who love exploring the outdoors, especially if you have pets as well.
