Ream Hills Holiday Park is a unique destination, based around its own private lake. There are water sports to be had by children and adults alike, from canoeing to paddle boarding and wakeboarding.
The holiday park sits between Blackpool and the Lancashire village of Weeton. Depending on what mood you’re in, or who you’re with, this gives some excellent choices. To the east, Weeton lies down a winding country road, and is home to an excellent, recently refurbished pub. This serves high quality meals, as well as drinks for all the family, and a dog if you have one. The surrounding area is open countryside, perfect for exploring on foot, by bike or car.To the west of the park is Blackpool, which can be reached via the villages of Mythop and Staining. The outskirts of the town have plenty to interest families, including Blackpool Zoo, the Model Village and Gardens. There is also a golf course, for those who love the game. This is one of many courses in the area, which attracts golfers from all over the country.Blackpool itself, of course, is worthy of a day, night or both all on its own. During the day, there’s the world famous Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower and Madame Tussauds attractions, to name a few. The town has countless restaurants, bars and entertainment venues for lovers of the nightlife.Nature lovers have plenty to look out for in this part of England. The Fylde Coast, Ribble and Alt Estuaries and Forest of Bowland AONB are all within a short drive away. Slightly further to the east and north lie the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks.
