This Tudor building has a large collection of eclectic items. There are plenty of activities at the museum for children including, quizzes and courtyard games.

There is something for the whole family. Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop produces fresh from the estate, tenant farms, Derbyshire suppliers and other small food producers. An interesting sight to see is Arbor Low Stone Circle and Gib Hill Barrow is a prehistoric monument that was started between 3,000 and 2,500 BC, consisting of 42 stones in a 40-meter diameter circle. Mining for lead has been carried out at Magpie Mine for over 250 years, the site is one of the best examples of its kind in the country. Monsal Trail runs through the Peak District national park.
